Why Hire Kenny Jay Mobile Party?
When I started in radio, I began DJ'ing friends and family who were paying way too much for a wedding DJ and some cases getting absolutely no return on their investment. When you think of a wedding DJ, I'm not that typical "cheesy, trying to hard to talk like a radio guy, the show is about me" DJ. It's about you, your guests, great songs, and fun! Word of mouth referrals led me to purchase my own equipment and begin this as a part time business to go along with current full time position as music director of Q106 in Madison. As a part time business I take on only a limited number of events so you get my full attention when it comes to planning, but as a full time radio personality you can be assured your event is being run by a professtional.
It's about you and your event. I am not the star of the show, you and your guests are!
Most events, especially weddings it's all about creating special moments that your guests will talk about for years. Our pre-planning helps capture those special moments for your event.
There are no hidden charges for extras. You get a wireless mic, mirrorball, optional kids dance, song requests, and light show included in one fixed package price.
Fully customized planning for your event. We sit down with you and anyone involved to make sure the party is exactly what you want. There is no cap on the amount of planning we do. This is especially key for weddings.
For a wedding you help pick songs and we layout an entire list of songs we may play. This allows us to tweak and truly customize the event for you. This also allows you to see the songs that may get played at some point. If you're getting married for a second time, you probably may not want to hear the wedding song from your first marriage. Pre planning will help avoid an unpleasant surprise like that.
Not just country music. While we certainly could do an all-country event, we have all types of music to make your event a success.
When you contract me, you meet with me and you get me for your event!
Gratuity is just that. Unlike some DJ services who expect that at the end of the night, gratuity is completely up to you.
We'll work with you in planning to blend equipment in with your event. It shouldn't be the eye sore of the room. We also don't hang huge banners that take away from your atmosphere. We just set out some business cards.
CD's vs computer is just a preference of what a DJ likes and should not be a reason for you to pay more. Music on a computer (as opposed to CD's that I play) does not benefit you in any way. It actually could make the event worse if the DJ hired is just babysitting a computer that is playing songs.
Any downloaded music in my library is done through a subscription service to ensure quality during playback.
